Bedrooms
The Inn has a massive collection of old prints and pictures and each room is worth a viewing. The beds themselves make a perfect place from which to look out at the river or just enjoy them for the pure comfort as each mattress is traditionally made using wool and horsehair with hand sewn springs. Fourteen bedrooms have open fires which make those winter evenings a little more cosy.
Our long running passion for the bathroom continues, we have now collected far too many Victorian bathing machines. Their sheer size and beauty are only bettered by their complexity and unreliability, but it is bathing heaven. For those who would prefer a regulated water temperature and pressure six of the new bathrooms feature highly proficient and quite striking Teutonic fittings, we are not prejudiced against those who prefer them, really. |
